Stranded astronauts “absolutely not” feeling let down Boeing
Speaking at a information convention from the International Space Station, astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams say they the mission was a "risky business" and issues “do not always turn out the way you want”.
Launched aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft on 5 June, the pair arrived on board the on the area station the next day. Due to remain on board for eight days, issues with the Starliner system meant have meat their return has been delayed to 2025.
But Wilmore says they don’t really feel let down by NASA or Boeing over this delay. He added that regardless of being skilled for any sudden circumstances, typically what really occurs "goes beyond" this, however "that’s just the way it goes sometimes".
