‘Stranger Things’ creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer revealed in a Jan. 1 interview with Variety that they’re engaged on a spin-off that may tackle some plot factors left unanswered after the Netflix sequence’ Dec. 31 finale. After it was revealed that Henry Creel a.ok.a. Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) had gotten his powers from the Mind Flayer as a toddler after getting contaminated by a glowing rock inside a scientist’s briefcase, the spin-off might give followers a greater concept of the artifact. Matt instructed the outlet, “I do need to clarify, simply because folks’s expectations go in sure instructions: The spin-off goes to delve into that and clarify that, and you are going to perceive it. But it is a fully totally different mythology." Although fans watched Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and the rest of the cast save the world for nearly a decade, the creators reveal the new series will have “completely new characters, a new town, a new world, a new mythology."
