Survivor provides proof at Nottingham assaults inquiry

Two folks significantly injured by paranoid schizophrenic Valdo Calocane in Nottingham in June 2023 give proof immediately on the public inquiry into the lethal assaults.

Calocane killed University of Nottingham college students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, each 19, and Ian Coates, 65, and significantly injured three others as he drove Coates’s stolen van.

Calocane was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order in January 2024 after pleading responsible to manslaughter by diminished accountability.

The inquiry is chaired by senior circuit choose Deborah Taylor.
