Survivorship Webinar Series Session 2 – Emotions – The Mind Body Connection
Description: People with cancer are living longer due to improved care, screening, and newer treatments. The term “cancer survivor” identifies a community of people with a history of cancer, either at the time of diagnosis, during or after treatment. The effects of cancer do not end when treatment ends.
Staff of the Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Family Cancer Education Center, located in Rochester, Minnesota, will discuss the importance of managing and dealing with difficult emotions that are often associated with a cancer diagnosis or when one transitions from active treatment.
