Thames Water, which was as a consequence of run out of cash, has been given a lifeline after a £3bn mortgage was accredited by the High Court.
It will obtain an preliminary tranche of £1.5bn to fund it till September 2025.
The mortgage will beat back nationalisation, giving the UK’s greatest water supplier time to kind out its funds.
