In North Devon, controversial plans to run electrical cables from an offshore wind farm to Saunton Sands have been permitted regardless of opposition.
Opposition teams say they are not towards renewable power, however are objecting towards harm to the surroundings as cables are put in to carry power from offshore wind farms to the mainland.
