There are confrontations between pro-Palestinian protesters and supporters of Israel throughout the United States.

Protesters in the United States who support Palestine have been expressing their approval of Hamas’ assault on Israel, occasionally leading to confrontations with rallies in support of Israel.

In Times Square, there were clashes between groups with different views. Some individuals supporting Palestine, including some who displayed swastikas, were chanting “Free Palestine,” while others were demanding an end to U.S. assistance to Israel.

Protesters in support of Israel displayed flags and responded by shouting “Terrorists!” The police ensured that the two groups remained separated.

Governor Kathy Hochul of New York, who belongs to the Democratic party, expressed strong disapproval of the pro-Palestinian rally, describing it as “disgusting and morally offensive.”

Black Lives Matter chapters nationwide expressed solidarity with the Palestinians through social media posts.

BLM Grassroots, a group that represents different BLM chapters, posted a lengthy statement saying they stand “in solidarity with the Palestinian people,” and that they see “clear parallels between Black and Palestinian people.”

The statement expressed that as Black individuals strive to put an end to militarism and mass imprisonment within our communities, it is important for us to perceive the resistance in Palestine as an effort to dismantle the barriers of the world’s biggest open-air prison.

BLM Chicago posted an image on social media that has since been deleted that showed a paraglider donning a Palestinian flag with the caption, “I stand with Palestine.”

The post also mentioned, “That’s all there is to it!”

Hamas employed paragliders to land at an Israeli music festival on Saturday, resulting in the unfortunate loss of approximately 260 lives.

On Wednesday, they shared on X platform that they feel remorseful about their past posts, but they continue to support Palestine and those individuals who are determined to live in freedom.

“We express our sympathy for the mourning mothers and those who are saving infants from the debris, as they face the imminent risk of complete devastation,” the statement conveyed.

Former New York Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin reposted BLM Chicago’s original post, saying “BLM joins the Democratic Socialists of America in declaring its proud support of Hamas terrorists who are raping women, beheading babies, kidnapping Holocaust survivors, and slaughtering Jews wherever they can find them.”

On Sunday, a group of over 75 individuals gathered outside the Israeli consulate in Atlanta to voice their protest. They expressed their support for Hamas and called for the cessation of U.S. assistance to Israel.

Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the Israeli consulate in Chicago, chanting, “Netanyahu, you will witness Palestine’s liberation,” in reference to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On Tuesday, student organizations from California State University organized a rally to show their support for the Palestinian people and express their opposition to Israel’s counter-attack. Around 200 students and other individuals participated in the rally, holding signs demanding the cessation of aid to Israel and an end to what they perceive as “Israel’s oppression of the Palestinians,” as reported by the Press-Telegram.

Pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups clashed in front of Santa Clarita City Hall in California, resulting in fights breaking out.

On Sunday, a large crowd assembled in Washington, D.C., in front of the White House to express their solidarity with the Palestinians. They waved Palestinian flags and held signs while chanting “Free Palestine.”

Since the unexpected assault on Israel over the weekend, the ongoing confrontation between Israel and Hamas has persisted. Hamas forcefully entered Israel’s land, air, and sea, capturing both Israeli soldiers and civilians.

The terrorists went on a violent spree, showing no regard for human life as they targeted Jewish individuals, including women, children, and older adults.

On Sunday, Mr. Netanyahu initiated a war and commenced airstrikes on Gaza.

Nearly 2,000 people have died from both sides with thousands more injured. At least 14 Americans have been killed.
