Ticketmaster has agreed to alter the way it sells tickets after a contest watchdog investigation into the way it offered Oasis tickets.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) discovered two areas of concern in how Ticketmaster offered tickets to the long-anticipated Oasis reunion tour.
These included failing to tell clients within the "lengthy queues" that tickets had been being offered at two totally different costs, with the associated fee surging after cheaper tickets had been offered out and that some "platinum" tickets had been being offered at 2.5 instances the worth of a typical ticket, regardless of providing "no additional benefits".
