A pet tortoise escaped a fireplace that destroyed the shed she lives in after a warmth lamp fell and ignited her enclosure in Southern California.
Security digicam footage exhibits the feminine tortoise, Leo, scurrying to security because the blaze burns behind her.
Leo’s proprietor joked on TikTok that the tortoise was in “sports activities mode," including that he was at a buddy’s Super Bowl social gathering when the hearth began. He’s warning different tortoise house owners to safe their warmth lamps.
