Donald Trump has lashed out on the UK in his newest Truth Social publish.
The US president wrote: "Shockingly, our ‘brilliant’ NATO Ally, the United Kingdom, is currently planning to give away the Island of Diego Garcia, the site of a vital U.S. Military Base, to Mauritius, and to do so FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER."
He is referring to the UK’s resolution at hand the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, which incorporates the island of Diego Garcia and its UK-US army base.
Under the signed deal, the location of the bottom will likely be leased again to the UK for 99 years.
