Donald Trump has blamed Britain’s use of wind energy for its excessive power prices.
Speaking within the White House, he informed reporters UK "energy costs have gone through the roof, it’s because of wind".
The US president went on to stipulate why he was not permitting new wind generators to be inbuilt America.
UK power prices are amongst the very best in Europe however consultants say that is on account of Britain’s reliance on fuel, which has soared in worth following Russia’s struggle towards Ukraine.
