Trump dismisses homicide of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, calling him ‘extraordinarily controversial’
President Donald Trump on Tuesday angrily dismissed a query concerning the 2018 homicide of Jamal Khashoggi, claiming the Saudi dissident journalist was “extremely controversial” and insisting the topic was solely raised throughout his assembly with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to embarrass his customer. Trump went on to insist Prince bin Salman — who the CIA assessed possible ordered the homicide — wasn’t concerned.
Trump grew visibly offended when requested why he doesn’t unilaterally launch the Jeffrey Epstein recordsdata, attacking an ABC reporter as a substitute of answering the query and insisting he has no connection to Epstein. “It’s not the question that I mind. It’s your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter,” the president snapped. Trump then stated that ABC’s license must be revoked, arguing that the Federal Communications Commission chairman ought to check out the community.
