Donald Trump has posted on Truth Social that Vladimir Putin could not need to cease the conflict towards Ukraine.
Despite saying on Friday a deal between Russia and Ukraine was "close", on Saturday he accused the Russian chief of "tapping him along" and steered he could need to be handled by means of "secondary sanctions".
"There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days," he wrote.
"It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through “Banking” or “Secondary Sanctions?” Too many people are dying!!!"
The submit got here after the US president met Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Pope Francis’s funeral in Rome.
