Donald Trump says he by no means mentioned the UK’s plan to recognise Palestinian statehood with Sir Keir Starmer, including the US is "not in that camp".
The president, heading again to Washington after visiting Scotland over the weekend, stated Starmer’s assertion was much like France’s Emmanuel Macron.
"He’s basically saying the same thing [as Macron] and that’s OK. It doesn’t mean I have to agree."
