The Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom says Donald Trump may quickly be gunning for the UK.
His warning got here after the US president introduced commerce tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China.
He urged the UK to "stand by your friends".
"We are determined to defend our ground, to defend our rights, to defend our sovereignty, our economy and Canadian jobs," Ralph Goodale stated.
He additionally described Trump’s calls to carry Canada in as its 51st state as "trolling" and "offensive".
