Donald Trump has posted on Truth Social saying he’ll implement a wave of tariffs on European nations – together with the UK – till the US is allowed to buy Greenland.
He says 10% tariffs would come into impact on 1 February for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland.
Those tariffs will then enhance to 25% on 1 June till a deal is reached for the US to buy Greenland.
