An amber warmth well being alert has been issued for giant elements of England.

The amber alert – described as an "enhanced hot weather response" – covers the East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London, and the South East.

The alert, issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), is because of be in place from 9am on Tuesday till 6pm on Wednesday.
