The UK is "rapidly developing" plans to organize the entire nation for the potential outbreak of warfare, the armed forces minister has stated.
Underlining the function civilians must play in a serious battle, Al Carns stated armies, navies and air forces reply to crises however "societies, industries and economies win wars".
He stated: "The shadow of war is knocking on Europe’s door once more. That’s the reality. We’ve got to be prepared to deter it."
