Greater Manchester is to turn out to be the UK’s first centre of excellence for music remedy for dementia in a bid to ascertain if the remedy can ease stress on the NHS.
More than £1m of funding has been dedicated to the challenge to supply extra musical help to individuals residing with dementia throughout all of Greater Manchester.
There are greater than 940,000 individuals within the UK who’ve dementia with one in 11 individuals over-65 being most affected.
