UK-US commerce deal might take ‘a while’ to come back, minister says
Care minister Stephen Kinnock says that the UK have to be able to "stand on its own two feet", as a UK-US commerce deal might "take some time to come".
Mr Kinnock goes on to say it is "very encouraging" that the UK economic system grew by 0.5% in February following the imposition of tariffs by the US. He says the prime minister is "rebuilding our relations with our European partners and allies" and that Sir Keir Starmer can be "developing good connections" with US officers.
