Russia’s heaviest spherical of missile strikes on Ukraine in a number of months comes on the eve of a significant NATO summit in Washington.
The summit within the US will contain the leaders of all 32 NATO states, together with Joe Biden and new UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and is predicted to closely concentrate on Ukraine.
Russia claims it was focusing on army manufacturing websites and air power areas. Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy has vowed to retaliate.
