Unite boss questions what Labour stands for and predicts Starmer will probably be ousted
In a scathing assault on the federal government, the final secretary of the Unite union has recommended the Labour celebration is "no longer the voice of workers" and predicted that members would vote to disaffiliate from the celebration if a vote was held at the moment.
Sharon Graham recommended that Sir Keir Starmer could also be pressured out as PM after the May elections "because I think Labour are going to pretty much be decimated in those elections."
Unite is likely one of the UK’s largest unions and beforehand paid a £1.45m charge to the Labour celebration for affiliation, earlier than voting to cut back that quantity by 40% over the Birmingham bin strike.
