US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has recommended America doesn’t see "eye-to-eye" with Israel on the thought of a two-state answer.
Responding to a query from Sky’s Mark Stone, Mr Miller stated: "There needs to be a solution moving forward that addresses the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people, while providing security to the Israeli people."
He added that the US and Israel are "close friends" however "that doesn’t mean we don’t have disagreements with them along the way".
