Pope Francis stays "stable but still in critical condition" after his eleventh evening in hospital, Vatican sources have stated.
The 88-year-old has been at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital since 14 February and is being handled for double pneumonia and power bronchitis.
The Vatican says the pontiff is ready to transfer, however it’s unclear if he really has moved off the bed.
