One of the world’s most lively volcanoes, Piton de la Fournaise, on the French island territory of La Réunion has been erupting since mid-February. But its lava not too long ago reached the Indian Ocean, a uncommon sight that creates new risks and has officers warning everybody to avoid the realm.
