If profitable, the Intuitive Machines lander will turn into the first-ever personal probe to soft-land on the moon and marks the primary US touchdown on the lunar floor since NASA’s Apollo 17 mission achieved the feat in 1972.
The mission is carrying a set of NASA experiments (as a part of a $118 million NASA contract) and several other industrial payloads for paying prospects.
