We’re assured – however we cannot launch until we’re 100%, NASA boss tells Sky News
The NASA chief has completely instructed Sky News that the security of the Artemis II astronauts is not going to be put in danger regardless of stress to get the moonshot programme again on monitor.
The mega-rocket is scheduled to take 4 astronauts on a historic 10-day check journey across the moon, and there was stress on NASA for the mission to go forward after two earlier launches had been cancelled as a result of technical points.
If the ultimate checks and exams are profitable – and the climate forecast stays clear – the Artemis II will lift-off at 11.24pm UK time on 1 April.
