West Midlands police boss to offer replace as stress grows on Maccabi fan ban

Earlier this week, West Midlands Police Chief Constable Craig Guildford apologised to MPs for giving them "erroneous" proof concerning the resolution to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv followers, blaming the usage of AI.

Meanwhile Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, advised the Commons on Wednesday there had been "a failure of leadership" after receiving a report on the choice to ban the Maccabi followers from attending a Europa League match towards Aston Villa in November.

She mentioned the "ultimate responsibility for the force’s failure to discharge its duties on a matter of such national importance rests with the chief constable" and that he "no longer has my confidence".
