Inflation fell greater than anticipated and for the second month in a row, official figures present.
The client worth index (CPI) measure of inflation fell to 2.6% in March, down from 2.8% in February and three% in January, in line with Office for National Statistics (ONS) information.
It means costs are rising on the slowest tempo since December and closest to the Bank of England’s 2% goal.
