Friday marks 1,000 days for the reason that outbreak of a brutal battle in Sudan between the military and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The battle has devastated the nation – leaving greater than 150,000 folks useless, about 12 million folks believed to have been displaced, and human rights teams accusing fighters in Darfur of ethnic cleaning.
Niall speaks to Sky’s Africa correspondent Yousra Elbagir – who has reported on the simmering tensions in Sudan for a decade. She shares her private reflections on the nation of her delivery, in addition to explaining the present scenario on the bottom and what the long run might seem like for the Sudanese folks.
