Firefighters have been battling a number of wildfires that erupted throughout South and North Carolina in a single day amid windy and dry circumstances, threatening properties and prompting evacuations, authorities stated.
Footage reveals massive plumes of smoke rising from a hillside close to Saluda, North Carolina and one other wildfire close to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina sending flames and smoke up into the air.
