A girl armed with a kitchen knife was fatally shot by law enforcement officials Tuesday after slashing a 3-year-old boy in a buying cart exterior a Walmart retailer in Nebraska, authorities mentioned.
The girl, recognized by police as Noemi Guzman, 31, was shot after refusing to drop the knife after which slicing the boy, in keeping with an Omaha Police Department press launch.
The boy was reunited along with his guardian and brought to the hospital for accidents that weren’t thought-about life-threatening, police mentioned.
