WWII Navy vet explains what it was like to go in direction of Japan at 18 years outdated

Eighty years after the Japanese surrendered, formally ending World War II, CNN’s Stephanie Elam sat down with US Navy veteran Edgar Buffman, who served on the USS Missouri in the course of the conflict. Buffman says he was 18 when he first boarded the Missouri and was by no means afraid going to conflict as a result of “you did what had to be done.” He remembers what life was like on the “Mighty Mo,” witnessing the aftermath of a kamikaze assault, and watching as members of the Japanese Imperial Government boarded the Missouri on September 2, 1945, to participate within the give up ceremony. #CNN #News
