Bombardier Tom Jones was referred to as as much as serve within the Royal Artillery because the warfare broke out in 1939 – when he was aged simply 17.
He has now visited a college in Salford to share his experiences with the longer term technology.
He frolicked defending the Liverpool Docks and was later posted to Myanmar, also referred to as Burma, for 4 years till the top of the warfare in 1945.
