The chancellor has pushed again following the choice by a significant firm to axe plans to construct a £250 million uncommon earths plant within the UK.
Our economics and information editor, Ed Conway, completely revealed this morning that Pensana has axed plans to construct the positioning on the banks of the Humber in Hull.
It would have been used to course of uncommon earths that might have been used to make magnets for electrical vehicles and wind generators.
