Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, has congratulated Donald Trump on an "impressive" election victory.
Mr Zelenskyy stated he appreciated Trump’s "commitment to the ‘peace through strength’ approach" to international affairs and that the precept may "bring just peace in Ukraine closer".
