Andy Street failed in a bid for a 3rd time period as West Midlands mayor by simply 1,508 votes.
He misplaced to Labour’s Richard Parker in one more defeat for the Conservative Party following a disastrous efficiency in native and mayoral elections.
However, Mr Street refused accountable Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for the loss and mentioned "tolerant conservatism" practically gained the day.
